The cone shape allows the nail technician to remove excess product, refine the enhancement surface and sidewalls, reduce thickness through the apex and free edge, and carefully remove lifted material before rebuilding the nail. Its red band indicates a fine, softer cut for controlled work where a less aggressive carbide bit is required.
